A classic art-deco cinema given a new life

front on view of the regal cinema

The Regal cinema was first built in the 1960s. With its distinctive art-deco style, it was the place to go in Melton. Whether it was your first date, a hang-out with friends, or somewhere to treat the family, it was at the heart of the community.

After years of neglect, it was in a condition which was a little worse for wear. But with the love and care, which comes from a deep passion for independent cinemas, local Melton investors John and Samantha Smith have restored the Regal cinema to its former glory.

We have kept the Regal's signature art deco style but given it a much-needed new lease of life. This includes brand new luxurious and comfy red velvet seats. Also a newly renovated bar serving a range of drinks, a classy cocktail on the weekend, and a new foyer.

The classical style of our cinema, and the sophistication of Casablanca are a perfect match. On the opening weekend, as a special offer, you can enjoy the film in the style it warrants with cocktails at half price. You know you deserve it !
